I have been using the curcumin supplement for three weeks now. I typically will try a supplement for a bit and then give it up because I don't notice the results enough to stick with it. The curcumin supplement, on the other hand, I have been taking every day since starting. The first day taking it, my low back pain from a minor squatting injury I sustained over a year ago went down dramatically. Within a few days it has decreased to barely even noticeable. I believe it helps me sleep better now and I wake up feeling rested. I am able to push harder in long crossfit workouts and my run times have improved. Workout recovery seems more manageable too. I've found that a 50 mg dose in the morning when I wake up and one at night keeps me feeling great throughout the day and still get the restful sleep benefits. I haven't experienced any negative effects so far so I have made this a daily routine for myself and have bought a couple extra bottles so I don't run out.
As a side note, I began giving a single capsule to my 13 year old White German Shepard who had developed a terrible limp in her front arthritic shoulder. After 3 days, she is now walking without a limp and seems pain free. So we're both benefitting great from this supplement!
